Folktales Beyond Borders
Folktales Beyond Borders is an body of work that reimagines African and Pangaean folklore through not contemporary but rather apex-frontier postcontemporary visual languagevisual language. Each piece serves as both artwork and cultural vessel, inviting viewers to encounter stories that transcend geography while remaining deeply rooted in place, memory, and shared humanity.
The collection is currently on tour through selected exhibitions and presentations. As works are placed into private collections, the series continues to travel, creating new conversations across borders while preserving the enduring power of African storytelling.
Opera of Light
Opera of Lightis my poetic synaesthesia of a grand, synchronized illumination.
Constructed from archival paper and hidden fields of colour, each sculpture appears almost entirely white until movement and light reveal the reflected primary - Opera Rose - concealed within its folds. Rather than using light as a source, these works choreograph light through geometry, transforming paper into an instrument of illumination.
Named after musical instruments, each sculpture explores resonance, rhythm, and harmony through the language of reflected colour, inviting viewers to discover light not as something projected, but as something quietly waiting to be revealed.
Original works and selected editions are available for acquisition.
