TEDx

  • Biography: Of Swedish & British shoots, and Nigerian roots, I am a well-travelled medical doctor and married matron of a multiracial family. I established the very beginning of my art journey with a calling signal, by my being followed by the CEO of Sotheby's on my Instagram.

I took a course in rhetorics and read Talarens hantverk: att göra framgångsrika presentationer av Inger Lindstedt (2015). As a medical doctor in specialist training in family medicine, I have held presentations at my GP practice, Bjärreds Vårdcentral. I have also spoken in public formats that lead me to believe that what I have to share is important and necessary.

I have lived in Nigeria, UK, Czech, Malta, India, Caribbeans, and now Sweden; and travelled to several countries globally from South America to Australia. I have given “speeches” amongst the poor and amongst the relatively wealthy, that have brought about thought. This background has built something that I think I have a responsibility to act as a conduit to share.

Not my direct experience but a strong inspiration in my life, my great grandmother was the first female political party leader, first female political party founder, first female to own a theatre troupe and first female to own a travelling theatre troupe in Nigeria and perhaps West Africa. Her premature death caused the coming together of the two largest rival trade unions at the time, in appreciation of her efforts.

  • Talk Title: "Pangaean Born, Polymathy Populator" - Apex-Frontier Post-Contemporary Art Coterie

  • Talk Summary: "You cant create change with the same thinking that created the problem in the first place." "There is plenty in the world to go around". Since 2008, I purposefully latched onto these two phrases I acquired during my yoga journey inspired the direction of my creativity. I spent years thinking about the status quo and how to move forward with it as it is to create global impact. So when I became pregnant and my father sent a text message that led me to become an artist, I found myself studying all of art history from a Pangaean perspective, all the way from Parietal Art to Contemporary Art. This brought me to post-contemporary (architecture) and this is how I realised and got to define Post-Contemporary Art from an Apex-Frontier perspective.

Apex-Frontier Post-Contemporary Fine Art is a forward, anterior front-side-focused reconstructive philosophy distinguished by a re-constructive, global, human ethos which posits that sensory, motoric and reflex experiences are universal to humanity, and that this experience can inspire understanding and transformation. It is developed with art history from a Pangaean perspective, theories of emergence in complexity science, as well as biosemiotics.

There are people with a range of mindsets from kill the wealthy to burn the poor, and the space between. Humanity is structured with extremes of poverty and wealth, however these extremes are elevating. The wealthy are getting wealthier, and the population in extreme poverty is decreasing. That's where I come in. With my background I am well versed in the urgency of saving lives and that art can create centuries worth of impact.

I use my skills as a scientist, artist and orator to populate polymathy in our world, in our children to manifest new ways of thinking that bring about global impact that lifts us all. In my vision global universal social structure is powerful, and abundance is superfluous. It is not a coincidence, or it is a great coincidence that I live in Scandinavia, come from Africa and gone through the journey I’ve been through. I believe our story here has the potential to bring great global impact through the vision I am a conduit for.

So this is the reason I want to be a part of the orator world. I am of the philosophy that there is plenty to go around, through right leadership and right conditions. As a scientist, I understand very well the importance of right conditions for correct momentum.

  • Talk Description:

    1. Why would you want to listen to someone who is hyperfocused on creating art in the luxury to high-luxury sector?

    2. Who my great-grandmother is. Who I am.

    3. What I studied to get me here, and what Post contemporary art and the coterie is, and why it is anterior focused.

    4. Pangaea Oxygen Pangaea.

    5. The importance of Polymathy in our children on a global scale.

    6. How art and healthcare has impacted earth.

    7. Fine art can and does cause global impact, though often in ways that are more subtle, long-term, and cultural than immediately obvious political or economic changes. Art has repeatedly shaped global consciousness.

    8. Examples: Da Vinci as the renaissance man, has created global impact that has lasted decades. Picasso's "Guernica" became a universal anti-war symbol. Ai Weiwei's installations have drawn global attention to human rights in China. Banksy's street art has sparked conversations about inequality and conflict worldwide. Soviet socialist realism influenced artistic movements worldwide. Islamic calligraphy and geometric patterns spread architectural and design principles across continents. Even social media has amplified art's potential reach dramatically. A single image can now go viral globally within hours, though whether viral art creates lasting impact is less clear.

    9. Sweden’s Robust Social Structure as a footprint. Heritage of Trust.

    10. A brief overview of the current status quo of our world, with careful attention to not wallowing in it since this is PoCo Frontier work.

    11. Princess Victoria’s visit to Nigeria. How the world is creating all patterns and it is up to us to use fact finding to create the future.
