My enquiry into my voice at its highest level led to physical artistic dormancy in that I found myself more and more losing interest trying to sell, disconnecting from what I was experiencing as a slavery in machine form that is social media and more and more started creating art in the direction of the vision I was bestowed with. I started seeing it less as my vision, and more as a baton I was handed to pass on, a baton that if I didn’t take care would be handed on, a baton that had many forms being handed to others with varied potency.
2021 I became a mum of 2.

Live event painting taught me a lot about the art of starting a business as an artist. The compelling need I was empowered by to create art that was impactful to lives I grew up with, started to feel stifled. I went down the path of being a live event painter and hold steadfast to it because I wanted to create art that was about joy and love and celebration, counterbalanced with revolutionary art.
Live event painting helped me navigate through impostor syndrome. It helped me navigate “who the hell do you think you are to think it let alone create a path to create global impact of legendary proportions?”

After seeing my painting of me with my husband, a friend asked me to create a painting for them. This led me down the rabbit hole of becoming a live event painter - I called myself Scandinavia’s Pioneer Live Wedding & Event Painter. It was a mouthful.

To develop my artistic manifesto, I decided to go all the way back to art history’s beginning, to a time untainted by modern day drama, charting my own education from parietal art forward.
2019
I knew I wanted to create art of impact, and started exploring themes and scale while developing the philosophy behind why I wanted to create art.
2019
Early in my journey, I heard Hirst say “The Bigger The Better”, and found myself fiercely adverse to this before even developing my own artistic language. So small voices cannot make impact was where that reaction came from.
This led to exploring small canvases. I came to realise the art of small voices coming together and communicating with each other to make great impact. This is how the Flatternator was born.
