On my first day, for 65 of White Arkitekter current projects and past projects, I contribute a single sentence of a never-ending poem of sorts—a concentrated artistic/conceptual statement that accents the architectural vision.
Each sentence is crafted through the lens of our collective history of oral tradition and word-art- It draws from Swedish and Yoruba tradition.
The sentence:
Is integrated into project documentation and presentation materials on White’s website
Is integrated into project documentation and presentation materials off White’s website
Appears alongside project credits
Becomes part of the firm's narrative for that project
Requires no additional client engagement or approval (it's embedded as part of White Arkitekter's creative output)
at least one of the above, up to all four per project.
Timeline: I receive short project briefs in a timely manner and deliver the sentence within one week of project completion or presentation.
Scope: All architectural projects that exit White Arkitekter during my tenure as In-House Artist receive this treatment.
Integration: The sentence becomes standard in your project portfolios, website presentations, and media coverage. It's part of how White Arkitekter's work is now presented to the world.
