Artistic Director, Out of Africa Sweden
I serve as Artistic Director of Out of Africa Sweden — a registered cultural association based in Malmö dedicated to strengthening the African diaspora and promoting African heritage across Sweden.
In this role I set the artistic vision and philosophical framework for the organisation's creative programming — curating exhibitions, developing platforms for Nordic artists of African descent, and directing cultural experiences that carry the full weight of African storytelling traditions into contemporary Scandinavian spaces.
But the vision reaches further than the diaspora. Africa is not a destination. It is the origin — the single landmass from which all human life, all story, all culture departed. My work as Artistic Director is oriented toward that deeper truth: that what we call African heritage is not particular to one continent but foundational to every human being alive. The Pangaean perspective holds that when we tell not global stories but Pangaean stories with full fidelity and full artistic ambition, we are not speaking to a fraction, to a community. We are speaking to and for the species.
My appointment brings the AMOH Hypothesis — a forward-looking philosophy of emergence in 24 cycles — into the heart of Out of Africa Sweden's artistic identity, positioning the organisation at the intersection of community rootedness, diaspora excellence, and a civilisational artistic ambition that belongs to the whole of humanity.
This is not decoration. This is architecture.
